Wes Swietek is an award-winning journalist who currently serves as managing editor of the Daily News in Bowling Green. His first book, The Cemetery Road Murders, was published in 2020. Swietek will discuss the stories behind his book, When the Bluegrass Ran Red — the true stories of when crime and corruption ran rampant across Kentucky in the turbulent 1960s and 70s. Swietek will answer audience questions and will be available to sign books after the presentation. 100 copies of his book will be given away at the event!
